We have a mixed age classroom for children aged two to five.  We love the opportunities this creates for younger children learn by observing and interacting with older friends, while older children deepen their understanding and gain confidence by mentoring younger ones.  This natural, nurturing environment fosters empathy, leadership, and a strong sense of community.   It also means that your child does not need to transition to a new room (with new routines, teachers and classmates) each year. 

Our maximum number of children each day is 45, creating an intimate setting where your child doesn't get lost in a big crowd

We have a high quality of care ratio - 1 teacher to every 7 children -  ensuring plenty of opportunities each day for quality connection

Our Silverdale location, right next to St John Ambulance,  is handy to the motorway, Silverdale Village, the Silverdale Centre, Millwater, Milldale, Orewa, Silverdale, and the Hibiscus Coast.  

Coast Montessori Preschool is open between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.    You choose the hours your child would like to attend.   

We are privately owned by Rody and Karen, who with a combined 30 plus years of experience in the early childhood sector, are informed, experienced and responsive.  Our personal touch means we differ from many centres owned by large  corporations. 

Our teachers are highly qualified, and have a combined wealth of experience in the New Zealand early childhood sector.
